Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position available in Carthage, Tennessee. The role involves providing care in the Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Postpartum units at a critical access hospital. This position requires a dedicated professional to support maternity women and newborns, ensuring quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery
• Location: Carthage, Tennessee
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, weekly guaranteed hours of 36, with every other weekend rotation and three 12-hour call shifts per four-week schedule
• Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP, with a Tennessee RN license, and at least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery, fetal monitoring, or related areas
• Required Qualifications: Certifications, Tennessee RN license, experience in Labor and Delivery, fetal monitoring, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Additional Information: Candidates must have required certifications prior to start date. Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. Unit includes 2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds, serving maternity women and newborns with a patient ratio of 1:2. Experience with fetal monitoring is necessary. Preferred but not required: PALS, Centricity, and Meditech experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
