Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit Michigan. The position provides quality nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized patient and family needs. The Registered Nurse collaborates with the healthcare team and coordinates care activities to support professional nursing standards and patient-centered care.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license in Michigan; at least 3 years of experience; completion of at least 1 travel assignment; Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Intensive Care Unit experience, with the ability to float to a cardiovascular intensive care unit.
• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week and every other weekend.
• Responsibilities: Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational patient needs; plan and implement nursing care; provide appropriate interventions; evaluate patient responses; promote quality patient care and patient satisfaction; and coordinate and delegate activities within the healthcare team.
• Additional Information: A skills checklist completed within one year of application is required for Registered Nurse specialties. Michigan license verification is required.
