Job Summary
Registered Nurse Medical-Surgical With Telemetry Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Registered Nurse assesses, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care under the direction of a licensed physician. The role collaborates with patients, families, professional peers, and the healthcare team while directing nursing support staff in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact Registered Nurse License.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree; 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty.
- Additional Information: Provides care to medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, individualizing patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and directing nursing support staff according to nursing standards and applicable policies and procedures.
