We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Utica, NY. This role is in the ICU, offering the opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with a 42-bed capacity, including Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma units. The shift schedule is 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Candidates must be flexible with floating to various units as needed, excluding Behavioral and ER unless holding. Key responsibilities include managing patients with conditions such as strokes, sepsis, respiratory failure, post-cardiac surgery, and trauma. Familiarity with equipment like CRRT (Prismaflex), IABP, ICP monitoring, and Artic Sun is required. Experience in heart-related care is highly preferred. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including travel assignments, and advanced certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Proficiency with EPIC EMR is necessary. The role offers a professional challenge in a dynamic setting, ideal for those looking to expand their critical care expertise.
