Contract | Rotating Shifts | 3x12-hour shifts | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across all LDRP roles within the same shift, including labor and delivery, postpartum couplet care, and well/sick nursery stabilization
• Monitor and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) strips independently, identifying major and life-threatening rhythms
• Manage and titrate IV drips including Pitocin, Mag Sulfate, and Antibiotics via infusion device
• Stabilize high-acuity neonates prior to transport, which may take approximately three hours for arrival of transport team
• Receive newborns during cesarean sections; OR team handles scrubbing, circulating, and recovery
• Float as a helping hand to other units (Med/Surg, ER, LTC) during low census periods, returning to OB for laboring patients

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with LDRP experience; must be comfortable functioning in L&D, postpartum, and sick-baby nursery roles
• Minimum one year of experience in a true LDRP setting
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (Advanced FHM required in Nevada for Cytotec administration)
• Comfort caring for sick neonates independently prior to transport team arrival
• Ability to work a modified self-schedule with flexibility to fill staffing gaps, including holiday rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• STABLE certification preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner Community Works EMR and Fetal Link EFM system
• Experience in a low-volume or critical access hospital setting where nurses function across multiple OB roles per shift
• Comfort working in an environment without an in-house neonatologist or dedicated triage area
