Job Title

Travel Physical Therapist

Location

Aventura, Florida

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care within a Physical Therapy unit, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
Conduct 1.5-hour treatment sessions utilizing specialized rehabilitation equipment including treadmills, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, and BITS
Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences to coordinate and communicate patient care plans
Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and progress using the Meditech documentation system
Function independently in a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation environment on the day shift

Required Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Florida
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience
Ability to work rotating weekends as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
Previous travel therapy experience preferred
Ability to adapt quickly and function independently in a high-acuity environment
