Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
• Ensure all care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals as required
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory agency requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing
• Actively engage in professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional activities and organizations

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Arizona
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings
• Proficiency in orthopaedic and geriatric patient populations
• Strong clinical reasoning skills with the ability to develop and progress individualized treatment plans toward discharge goals
• Knowledge of and adherence to state and federal documentation and compliance standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
• Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives in a clinical setting
