Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 or 48 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for cardiac, med-surg, post-trauma, and post-surgical patients
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and maintain professional accountability
• Perform drug titration and manage telemetry monitoring using Alaris pumps and related equipment
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with established nursing practice guidelines
• Float on a rotational basis as required; orient on day shift prior to transitioning to night shift schedule

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold Missouri licensure
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• 4 trauma credits required prior to or completed within the first two weeks of assignment start
• NIHSS certification required prior to start (may be submitted without, but must obtain before beginning)
• Demonstrated experience and competence in drug titration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Inpatient trauma experience
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
