Computed Tomography Technologist
Location
Portland, OR
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Sunday – Wednesday, up to 12-hour shifts | On-call rotation for weekend backup coverage
Key Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Support a 24/7 staffed imaging department, including participation in on-call rotation for weekend coverage
- Operate Siemens Flash Dual Source and Perspective CT systems
Required Qualifications
- ARRT registration as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) required
- Advanced certification in CT modality required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS accepted)
- ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Venipuncture certification preferred
