Job Title

CT / Radiology Scan Technologist – Travel (Weekend Days)

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic CT and radiologic exams under general supervision, following established policies and procedures using appropriate imaging equipment
Verify patient identity, review medical records for exam appropriateness, obtain medical history, and assess risk factors including medications and pregnancy status
Explain procedures to patients, including pharmaceutical side effects, risks, benefits, alternatives, and follow-up instructions
Set up equipment, acquire images per protocol, review images, document exceptions, and communicate findings to the radiologist
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies appropriately and provide physician-prescribed post-care instructions to patients
Participate in process improvement activities including quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeat analysis, and imaging education for residents, student technologists, and new employees

Required Qualifications

ARRT certification in both CT and Radiology (must be provided at time of submission)
BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must be provided at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of recent CT and Radiology experience; must be able to work independently
Active Texas CT/Radiology license (must be provided at time of submission)
Familiarity with GE CT and X-ray equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel technologist experience in a hospital or acute care setting
Availability and willingness to take on-call shifts beyond the core weekend schedule
