Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide care in inpatient settings including acute, ICU, Med/Surg, observation, SNF, and occasionally OB units
• Deliver extensive outpatient physical therapy services through a hospital-based outpatient PT clinic
• Manage a full daily schedule of inpatient and outpatient visits, ranging from 5 to 15 patients per day with appointments every 30–45 minutes and one-hour slots for new evaluations
• Support inpatient mobility progression from acute to SNF level of care, including discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Active Hawaii Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain promptly prior to start)
• Experience performing PT evaluations and treatments across a broad range of outpatient diagnoses
• Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare setting
• Knowledge of discharge planning and inpatient mobility progression from acute through SNF levels of care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a combined inpatient and outpatient hospital-based PT setting
• Familiarity with ICU and ER physical therapy practice
• Experience working in rural or critical access hospital environments
