Contract | Days | 36/48-hour schedule | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting during day shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
- Deliver care to pediatric patients as part of the unit's patient population
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Pediatrics (PEDS) experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required at time of submission
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA required at time of submission
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through AHA required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Medical Surgical unit within a hospital or acute care setting
- Ability to manage a varied patient census including adult and pediatric populations
