RN - Medical Surgical (Med/Surg)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 36–48 hours per week | 7 on / 7 off schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
- Deliver care to pediatric patients as part of the unit's patient population
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Pediatrics (PEDS) experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- All certifications must be current and valid at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
- Experience in a fast-paced Medical Surgical environment
