Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care within a Labor & Delivery unit at a tertiary teaching hospital
Support labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery patients across a Level I experience setting
Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery, responding promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery nursing
Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
STABLE certification and AWHONN certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in a tertiary or teaching hospital environment
Familiarity with high-volume Labor & Delivery units
