Job Title

Registered Nurse – Obstetrics / Med-Surg (OB/GYN)

Atlantic, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care for obstetric patients including labor and delivery, postpartum, and recovery
Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout the labor and delivery process
Support postpartum patients and newborns during the recovery period
Float to the med-surg floor and provide general medical-surgical nursing care when obstetric census is low

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Experience in obstetrics, including labor and delivery, postpartum, and recovery
Ability and willingness to float to a med-surg unit as needed
Ability to work night shift

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a med-surg nursing environment
Familiarity with low-census float protocols in a hospital setting
