Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location
San Angelo, TX
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts | Rotating Midday Shifts (9:00 AM–9:00 PM and 12:00 PM–12:00 AM) | Some weekends required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a general Emergency Department setting serving both adult and pediatric populations
- Maintain a patient ratio of 3–4:1 in a fast-paced ED environment
- Float between two ED locations within close proximity as needed
- Perform thorough assessments, interventions, and documentation in accordance with ED protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- TNCC certification
- ENPC or PALS certification
- NRP certification (may be obtained after start date)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred
