Job Title

Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Atlanta, Georgia

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation
Monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway status, and neurological condition throughout the recovery phase
Administer medications and interventions as ordered, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient transitions
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a high-volume or acute care post-anesthesia setting
Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills in a fast-paced environment
