Travel RN – ICU / Critical Care
Location
Englewood, Colorado
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM) | Projected Start: July 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU/CCU setting with a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients using cardiac monitoring systems, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps
- Assist with and support procedures including intubations and central line placement
- Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and patient care technicians to deliver safe, high-quality care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within the Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care ICU experience in a hospital setting
- Active RN licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Colorado)
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with medical ICU and neurological patient populations
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
