Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care tasks are delegated
- Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality and safe nursing care is delivered
- Monitor and manage appropriate resources related to patient care at the unit level
- Ensure competency of clinical staff through ongoing oversight and accountability
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
- Demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize patient care needs in a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a supervisory or charge nurse capacity
- Familiarity with emergency department workflows and protocols
