Job Title

Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location

Overland Park, Kansas

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments across multiple inpatient units as a float OT
Provide care for acute care patients (8–10 patient ratio) and inpatient rehabilitation patients (4 patient ratio)
Utilize facility equipment including Hoyer lifts, EZ Stands, BITS, Xcite, Barihab, and BURT devices
Document patient care and treatment plans using Meditech EMR
Collaborate with an OT/PT team of 11–12 occupational therapists scheduled per day
Support a growing inpatient rehabilitation unit with weekend coverage on Saturday and Sunday

Required Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist licensure in good standing
Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

Inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with Meditech EMR
Experience with adaptive and assistive equipment (Hoyer, EZ Stand, BITS, Xcite)
