Travel RN – Emergency Room (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: July 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
- Reassess patients systematically to identify trends and changes in condition that require timely intervention.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care.
- Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical findings and patient outcomes, modifying the care plan as needed.
- Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning.
- Perform Point of Care testing procedures and document all interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state RN license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification from AHA.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification from AHA.
- Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an Emergency Department setting.
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification or equivalent.
- National professional nursing certification or additional nursing education (BSN or MSN).
