Travel RN – Emergency Room (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
Reassess patients systematically to identify trends and changes in condition that require timely intervention.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care.
Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical findings and patient outcomes, modifying the care plan as needed.
Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning.
Perform Point of Care testing procedures and document all interventions accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state RN license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification from AHA.
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification from AHA.
Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an Emergency Department setting.
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification or equivalent.
National professional nursing certification or additional nursing education (BSN or MSN).
