Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday through Friday with rotating one-day weekend coverage | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to patients within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized patient treatment plans to support functional recovery and rehabilitation goals
• Document patient progress and clinical notes utilizing Cerner and NetHealth EMR systems
• Provide occasional coverage to Medical-Surgical unit as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Cerner and NetHealth EMR platforms
• Ability to work a rotating weekend schedule (one day per weekend rotation)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) or inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with Medical-Surgical patient populations
• Experience in a travel therapy assignment or adaptability to new clinical environments
