Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 3x12 (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Projected Start: 07/13/2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room environment with 23 ORs (18 actively operating)
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio across a broad range of surgical specialties including neurology, urology, oncology, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, OMF, and general surgery
- Operate and adapt to various specialty-specific equipment as required by case type
- Participate in on-call rotation requirements: 2 primary and 2 backup calls over a 2-month call period with rotating self-sign-up opportunities (Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
- Willingly participate in all aspects of patient care and teamwork within and around perioperative areas, including float assignments as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in an Operating Room setting
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Ability to work weekends as required by the facility
- Professional demeanor with enthusiasm for teamwork and comprehensive perioperative patient care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 1+ years of prior travel nursing experience
- Specialty certification in perioperative or surgical nursing (e.g., CNOR)
