Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Charge Experience)

Plainview, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a Level IV Trauma Center
Assume charge nurse responsibilities with minimal department orientation upon start
Maintain a patient care ratio of 4:1
Adhere to block scheduling requirements as established by the facility
May be expected to float to nearby sister facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

Active RN license – compact license must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room experience required
Current ACLS certification required
Current BLS certification required
Current TNCC certification required
Demonstrated charge nurse experience with ability to lead upon start

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in a short-term acute care facility
Familiarity with trauma center protocols and high-acuity emergency patient populations
