Occupational Therapist (OT)

Monterey, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Outpatient | No weekends or holidays required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services in an outpatient rehabilitation setting with a focus on neuro and orthopedic patient populations
  • Work within a clinic environment that includes 5 treatment bays and 3 private rooms, supported by 2 rehabilitation aides
  • Deliver independent, patient-centered care with minimal orientation period
  • Document patient care and progress using Epic EMR
  • Maintain professional appearance in accordance with facility dress code (business attire with lab coat)

Required Qualifications

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to practice independently from day one with minimal ramp-up time
  • Must comply with nicotine-free facility policy (nicotine included in drug screening)

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience with Epic EMR
  • Background in neuro and/or orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation
  • Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment
