Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location
Monterey, CA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Outpatient | No weekends or holidays required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in an outpatient rehabilitation setting with a focus on neuro and orthopedic patient populations
- Work within a clinic environment that includes 5 treatment bays and 3 private rooms, supported by 2 rehabilitation aides
- Deliver independent, patient-centered care with minimal orientation period
- Document patient care and progress using Epic EMR
- Maintain professional appearance in accordance with facility dress code (business attire with lab coat)
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to practice independently from day one with minimal ramp-up time
- Must comply with nicotine-free facility policy (nicotine included in drug screening)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Epic EMR
- Background in neuro and/or orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation
- Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment
