Travel RN – Labor and Birth (Days)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days, 3x12 (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: June 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in an active Labor and Birth unit with 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, and 4 pre/post beds
  • Perform and interpret external fetal monitoring for laboring patients
  • Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1 in accordance with unit needs
  • Document all patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
  • Float to postpartum as required by the facility
  • Adhere to facility dress code, wearing black scrubs at all times while on unit

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience at a facility delivering 350–400 patients per month
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current PALS certification
