Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36-hour weekly guarantee

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-room Emergency Department, including a 6-room EDOU observation unit and 6 fast track beds
• Manage and care for a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, and neurological cases at a Level IV Trauma Center
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 in a high-volume environment averaging 100 patients per day
• Collaborate with support staff including technicians during peak hours and advanced practice providers in the fast track area
• Utilize Allscripts Sunrise EMR and Omnicell medication management system for accurate documentation and medication administration

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current PALS and TNCC certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Allscripts Sunrise EMR
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
• Experience in a Level IV Trauma Center environment
