Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Level 3)

Location

New York, NY

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36–48 Hours per Week | Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) | Onsite | Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, and Callback Required

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced Adult Emergency Department managing more than 100,000 visits annually
Deliver nursing care to a diverse patient population within a Level I Trauma Center environment
Assist with boarder patient management as needed
Float across unit areas and assume charge responsibilities based on unit needs
Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition

Required Qualifications

Active New York State RN License (NY license required)
Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
Previous travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting required
Telemetry experience required
BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
NIHSS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a Level I Trauma Center
Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency environment
