Job Title

RN - Emergency Room

Clearlake, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (0600–1830) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Float to MedSurg or ICU departments as needed based on staffing requirements
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Document patient information and care activities accurately using basic computer systems

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
At least one year of Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months, with acute critical care experience within the last 12 months; or EMT/ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience in good standing
Current Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Basic computer skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

ER and ICU clinical experience strongly preferred
MICN certification desired; must be completed within one year of hire if not already obtained
NRP, TNCC, and CEN certifications encouraged and recommended
