Description

Job Title

Travel CT Technologist

Location

Aventura, Florida

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Perform CT scans, X-rays, and body scanning procedures in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment
Produce diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues and combine results to support accurate patient assessments
Operate and maintain GE imaging equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, X-ray, and fluoroscopy systems
Document and manage patient imaging records using Meditech EMR
Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability and volume
Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and a multidisciplinary imaging team

Required Qualifications

ARRT certification with CT specialty (ARRT CT) required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
Experience with GE imaging equipment strongly preferred and considered essential
Familiarity with Meditech EMR strongly preferred and considered essential
Strong communication skills, medical and anatomical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude

Preferred Experience / Skills

RT(T) certification and ASRT membership
FASRT designation
Ability to multitask and adapt to varying patient volumes across shift schedules
