Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Missoula, Montana

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Projected Start: June 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care within a Labor & Delivery unit on a night shift schedule
  • Manage varying patient ratios including 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 assignments based on acuity and census
  • Deliver post-partum care in addition to active labor and delivery support
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within a Joint Commission Accredited facility
  • Float within the designated service area as operationally required

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
  • Demonstrated Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum clinical experience
  • Ability to float within a 25-mile radius of the assigned facility as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • 2 or more years of RN experience in an OB/GYN or Labor & Delivery setting
  • Familiarity with Level 3 NICU environments or high-acuity obstetric care
  • Experience working in a teaching hospital or academically affiliated healthcare setting
