Job Title

Registered Nurse – Orthopedic / Bone & Joint

Location

Herrin, IL

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic and Surgical unit during night shift hours
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for orthopedic and post-surgical patients
Work every other weekend as part of the standard scheduling rotation
Float to clinically appropriate Med-Surg departments as needed, within scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current NIHSS certification
Ability and willingness to float to other Med-Surg units as operationally required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in an orthopedic, surgical, or Medical-Surgical nursing setting
Familiarity with post-operative patient care and recovery protocols
