Job Title

CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Peru, IL

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered care as an imaging technologist in a Computed Tomography setting
Perform CT exams and procedures with minimal supervision under the direction of a radiologist
Administer ionizing radiation to achieve adequate diagnostic image quality
Adhere to ALARA guidelines and all applicable regulatory requirements for safe and appropriate patient care
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with clinical team members

Required Qualifications

Graduate of a JRCERT accredited school of Radiology
Active Illinois Radiology License (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
IEMA license in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine
Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Strong interpersonal, communication, computer, and analytical skills with attention to detail

Preferred Experience / Skills

Graduate of a CT certification program
Active CT certification through ARRT or equivalent credentialing body
