Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location
Augusta, GA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (shifts may vary between 7:30–16:00 or 8:30–17:00) | Every other weekend required | Weekend call one weekend per month
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures for an adult to geriatric patient population
- Operate PET imaging equipment; general nuclear medicine procedures performed as assigned (no cardiac at this time)
- Utilize facility systems including Epic and Pyxis in daily workflow
- Float within the facility as needed and within scope of practice
- Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements as outlined in assignment terms
Required Qualifications
- Active CNMT and/or NMTCB certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- PET imaging experience required
- Proficiency with Epic and Pyxis systems
- Ability to work every other weekend and fulfill weekend call obligations (one weekend per month)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with both general nuclear medicine and dedicated PET imaging workflows
