Description

Job Title

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location

Augusta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures for an adult to geriatric patient population
Operate PET imaging equipment; general nuclear medicine procedures performed as assigned (no cardiac at this time)
Utilize facility systems including Epic and Pyxis in daily workflow
Float within the facility as needed and within scope of practice
Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements as outlined in assignment terms

Required Qualifications

Active CNMT and/or NMTCB certification required
Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience (first-time travelers accepted)
PET imaging experience required
Proficiency with Epic and Pyxis systems
Ability to work every other weekend and fulfill weekend call obligations (one weekend per month)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations in a hospital setting
Familiarity with both general nuclear medicine and dedicated PET imaging workflows
