Description

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location

Lancaster, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting
Manage a patient assignment of up to 6–7 patients per shift
Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required
Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Participate in emergency response activities as directed, including during designated hurricane season periods (June through November)

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact license required prior to start date
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
Proficiency with Epic charting system

Preferred Experience / Skills

Telemetry experience
Ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
