Travel RN – Charge Nurse, Emergency Room (Level I)

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Charge Nurse in a Level I Emergency Room, overseeing shift operations and patient flow
  • Provide direct patient care and clinical oversight in a high-acuity emergency care setting
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
  • Supervise and support nursing staff during the night shift, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards of care
  • Respond to and manage critical and emergent patient situations as they arise

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing
  • Prior Charge Nurse experience in an emergency department setting
  • Ability to work night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
  • Compliance with all travel nursing credentialing requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience in a Level I Trauma or high-volume Emergency Department
  • Strong leadership and team communication skills in fast-paced clinical environments
  • Previous travel nursing experience
