Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: 07/13/2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor & Delivery patients
- Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
- Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Must not be a local candidate; travel candidates only
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in high-acuity Labor & Delivery settings
- Strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced obstetrical environment
