RN - Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Location
Des Moines, IA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) | Every other holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in patient status
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float between Des Moines and West Des Moines locations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
- Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
- Ability to work every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Willingness and ability to float between Des Moines and West Des Moines facilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Telemetry monitoring experience
- Prior experience in a float or multi-site nursing role
