Job Title

OR RN – Scrub/Circulator

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Thursday, 40 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care throughout the perioperative period
Perform scrub and circulator roles in the operating room as required
Assist in the recovery room (PACU) as needed
Communicate effectively with all members of the perioperative team
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all aspects of patient care
Uphold and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Maine
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required for PACU assignments (may be obtained within 6 months of hire)
Minimum of 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative nursing experience
Basic computer skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred
Prior experience functioning in both scrub and circulator roles within a perioperative setting
