Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and healthcare team members
- Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an approved vendor
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous experience in an acute care facility setting
