Travel RN – ICU / Coronary Care Unit (Night Shift)
Location
Wichita, Kansas
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Coronary Care Unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices
- Perform and assist with procedures such as heart catheterizations, cardioversion, and central line management
- Administer and titrate medication drips in accordance with unit protocols
- Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care techs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Previous travel nursing experience in a large facility ICU setting
- Driven, organized, efficient, and team-oriented personality with a positive attitude
