Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Flexible shifts covering First and Second shift; 10-hour shifts including Weekends and Holidays; coverage at multiple sites as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanning equipment, select appropriate computer and technical factors, and produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes
• Review physician orders for accuracy prior to examination, coordinate scheduling, and enter patient data and charges accurately into the Meditech Computer System
• Assess patients and apply proper positioning techniques and exposure settings to optimize image quality, including taking appropriate precautions for women of childbearing age and pregnant patients
• Administer contrast materials and ensure accurate contrast injection procedures are followed to achieve optimum contrast enhancement
• Evaluate all CT images to confirm they meet diagnostic quality standards, include required demographic information, measurements, volumes, and anatomical data
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff by adhering to infection control, fall prevention, radiation safety, and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience
• Massachusetts DPH Radiology License required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred; must be obtained within two years of hire

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous hands-on experience performing CT scan procedures
• Experience operating Toshiba CT scanners
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and with a high degree of technical proficiency
