Contract | Nights | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care (IMC) setting, with the ability to float between IMC, Orthopedic, and Rehabilitation units as needed
• Manage patients presenting with conditions including hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical diagnoses
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Adhere to every-other-weekend (EOW) scheduling requirements and holiday coverage as needed
• Follow facility tobacco-free and fragrance-free policies at all times

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license hits; must meet state licensing requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Current NIHSS certification
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit environment
• Experience floating across Orthopedic and Rehabilitation units
• Familiarity with caring for COVID-positive patients
