Job Title

Travel RN – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location

Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a 25-bed ICU at a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
Titrate vasoactive and inotrope medications and manage hemodynamic monitoring equipment
Assist with and monitor patients following intubation, central line and arterial line placement, and chest tube placement
Operate and interpret data from GE Monitors, Hamilton BiPAPs and high-flow devices, Puritan ventilators, and Hemospheres
Complete bedside shift report and update MyCare boards at each change of shift
Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
Strong telemetry skills
Experience titrating vasoactive and inotrope medications
Chest tube experience
Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

Open heart surgery patient care experience
Temporary pacing experience
Swan-Ganz catheter experience
