Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Monday–Friday with 2–3 required weekends per 6-week scheduling period

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonatal patients in a Level III/IV NICU setting
• Manage post-operative patients, including those with g-tubes and tracheostomies
• Operate and monitor invasive and noninvasive ventilation equipment and various ventilator modes
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver specialized pediatric and neonatal care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of total NICU Level III/IV experience (at least 1 year must be in a Level IV NICU)
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care inpatient experience within the last 3 years in the submitted specialty
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• NRP certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; two attempts permitted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with trach and vent management in a neonatal or pediatric population
• Familiarity with multiple modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
• Experience caring for post-operative neonatal patients
