Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

Albuquerque, NM

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room at a Level I Trauma, Teaching, and acute care facility
Perform circulator duties throughout surgical procedures
Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in the OR setting
Fulfill on-call requirements of approximately 24–36 hours per month as directed by OR leadership
Work 2–3 weekend shifts per month as required
Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records

Required Qualifications

Active RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission)
Minimum 3 years of Operating Room RN experience
Level I Trauma experience required
Circulator experience required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
Non-local applicants only – must reside beyond a 100-mile radius of the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a teaching hospital or children's hospital environment
Familiarity with Cerner charting system
Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers also considered
