Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologist and/or ordering physician in a timely manner, covering ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Apply principles of radiation safety and demonstrate understanding of emergency procedures throughout all aspects of patient care
• Perform venipuncture for instillation of CT contrast; operate pressure injector correctly including setting rates, loading, and troubleshooting
• Execute efficient CTA/stroke studies including 3D reconstruction; transmit images and troubleshoot teleradiology systems
• Organize the daily CT schedule, review orders for diagnosis, and collaborate with staff and physicians to ensure optimal patient care delivery
• Prepare and stock rooms, maintain equipment between patients, perform timely exam management, and complete charge entry in EHR

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program
• ARRT registration in both Radiography and CT required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience in a hospital setting
• X-ray experience required
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 through April 1

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with GE Revolution Ascend CT equipment
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Self-starter with the ability to adapt quickly and function effectively as a team player in a fast-paced environment
