Physical Therapist (PT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation (Travel)

Contract | Travel | Day Shift | Sunday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services to adult patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
- Treat patients recovering from neurological conditions, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, orthopedic injury, and cardiopulmonary conditions
- Deliver individualized and group/concurrent therapy sessions tailored to each patient's functional goals and recovery needs
- Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including Vector, Lite Gait, Senaptec, and EKSO systems as appropriate
- Document patient care and progress accurately using Cerner EHR
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) required
- Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license valid in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in acute, subacute, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or inpatient rehabilitation settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a patient-first attitude
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with functional intervention approaches and group or concurrent therapy treatment modes
- Clinical background in neuro, orthopedic, TBI, SCI, or cardiopulmonary rehabilitation populations
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
