Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting within a Level I Trauma Center
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, triage, and prioritization of care
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective emergency care
- Document patient information, assessments, and care accurately in the electronic health record
- Respond to critical and rapidly changing patient conditions with clinical competency and composure
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license, verified within the last 30 days and with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum of 24 months of Emergency Room experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active TNCC certification from an approved vendor
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or large acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with high-acuity, high-volume emergency department workflows
