Description

Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L/D)

Location

Wilson, NC

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit following AWHONN staffing standards
Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections as required
Monitor and assess fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring equipment
Care for postpartum and OB/GYN patients as needed, including simple med/surg overflow (orthopedic patients)
Respond to triage and recovery room needs within the unit
Float within the unit for low census coverage, including sitting or task assignments

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Current BLS certification
Current NRP certification
Current ACLS certification
Fetal monitoring class completed within the past 2 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience circulating in the OR for Labor & Delivery procedures
Familiarity with GE Centricity and/or Meditech electronic health record systems
Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
